Overview:
The
owners of
the upscale Eton
Place shopping
plaza in
Beachwood, Ohio
had a problem.
Several of the
tenants directly
below the
existing 24,000
square foot
aluminum-coated
built-up roof
were
experiencing
leaks into their
businesses,
disrupting their
operations.
The owners
called in roof
consultant
Kenderson
Incorporated to
evaluate the
roof and make
recommendations.
After completing
his survey Curt
Cousino,
Vice-President
of Kenderson,
recommended
NEOGARD’s
Elasta-Gard LT
fluid-applied
roof system.
Specifications
were drawn up
and the project
bid.
The successful
contractor was
Allied
Commercial Roofing
Services of
Twinsburg,
Ohio. Mick Manser,
president of
Allied, had his
crew complete
all necessary
details repairs
to the vertical
walls, HVAC
flashings and
the multiple
seam failures

The roof was
then
power-washed and

system installed

Stop roof leaks in existing EPDM system.
Project Overview:
The
Park Place Apartments in Manhattan, Kansas had a
serious problem. They had more than 55,000 square
feet of aging, EPDM rubber roofs that were beginning
to develop leaks. The apartment owner had seen
roofing work recently completed at Kauffman Stadium,
the home of the Kansas City Royals baseball team.
The contractor, Washington Roofing & Insulation,
Inc. of Great Bend, KS, was asked to inspect the
roofs and submit a proposal to stop the leaks and
turn the hot, black roof into a cool, white one.
Washington Roofing’s president, Chuck Carpenter,
proposed
Elasta-Gard SP, a direct bond roofing system by
NEOGARD. The proposal was accepted and within
two weeks, the 55,000 square feet of roof is now
100% leak-free and Energy Star®
cool.

topcoat that was only 2 ½ years old.
Project Overview:
When
the owner of Impact Solutions approached RNC
Contracting, he was looking for more than a new
roof, but guidance and technical advice as well.
Robert Nelson owner of RNC Contracting immediately
fulfilled that request with a prompt visit to the
jobsite in Lansing, Michigan where the dwelling
stood. It didn’t take Robert long to realize
that the current, intact roofing system was the
perfect candidate for a NEOGARD
Permathane II FR system. The standing
acrylic looked rough, but the substrate and
insulation was in salvageable condition. The
project from start to finish (prep included) took
only 4 days to complete. The end result was a
sustained roofing application from NEOGARD, no
disruption to the business, a roof that has been
transformed into a preventative maintenance
approach, a system that saved the owner money on his
budget, and the opportunity to now do business with
a company that has multiple buildings in the
